The Parks Commitment to Child Safety Statement
The Parks Community Network Incorporated (The Parks) is committed to creating and maintaining an environment that promotes the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people. This includes encouraging a culture where the prevention and reporting of misconduct and abuse is supported and encouraged. All staff and volunteers are responsible for promoting the safety, wellbeing and empowerment of children.
Note: ‘Children and young people’ refers to children and young persons under 18 years of age.

To alleviate hardship or need through direct benevolent programs for those in need within our community.
Aims and Objectives
• The Parks Community Network will engage with people to provide services for communities in South West Sydney, to assist and relieve poverty, distress, suffering, destitution, misfortune, loneliness, helplessness and personal need.
• To provide support and practical help to people in crisis and to disadvantaged communities, families and individuals through the
initiation, coordination and development of community programs.
What we do
The Parks Community Network provides direct benevolent relief to disadvantaged people. This relief aims to make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged people without any form of discrimination.
Recognition of Country
Parks acknowledges the traditional owners of the land on which we live and work as the first people of this country. We pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and to their elders, past and present.
