The Parks Community Network Inc conducts a number of events throughout the year. Some of the events are organised through a number of local organisations and agencies, who contribute resources to each community event.
Community Events which Parks is actively involved in include:
- Neighbourhood Centre Week Event
- Children’s Week Event
- Child Protection Week Event
- Families Week Event
- Youth Week Event
- International Day of Persons with Disabilities Event
If there is an identified need to participate in other community events, Parks will consider being part of other events through the year.
The aim of each event is to raise awareness, promote participation, inclusion and increase participants sense of belonging to their community.
