The Enriching Kids Program is a made up of evidence-based and leadership programs delivered to children aged 12 and under to improve social-emotional skills, the ability to focus, confidence, the capacity to relax, regulate emotions, and develop empathy. The programs include Fun FRIENDS, Friends for Life and Kids Committee.
The Enriching Kids Program is funded by the Smith Family.
These programs support the social and emotional development of children using interactive, group-based activities. These programs have been proven to reduce anxiety and provide participants with strategies to rise to life’s challenges, and bounce back from setbacks and adversity.
Evidence-based areas of progress upon completion include:
- Increased Confidence
- More able to cope with stress
- More able to cope with fear
- Enhanced Social Skills
- Able to communicate better with adults
- Boosted Self Esteem
- Generally happier and more enthusiastic
