Parks Family Support Services aims to meet the needs of our diverse local community in the Fairfield and Liverpool LGAs, by acknowledging and building on families’ strengths, through respectful collaboration and education.
The New South Wales Government, through the Department of Family and Community Services, funds the Parks Family Support Service.
The Service works on a case management basis, offering:
- General support
- Development of skills
- Information and referral
- Advocacy
Staff with specific languages:
* English * Turkish
* Bosnian * Assyrian
* Croatian * Chaldean
* Macedonian * Hindi
* Arabic * Serbian
Our professional Family Case Workers can assist with:
- Improving parent/child relationship
- Negotiating with other welfare and health agencies
- Providing information about resources and rights
- Giving emotional support
- Language assistance
- Breaking down isolation
- Improving self-esteem
- Living skills
- Budgeting
The PARKS family Support Service hold group workshops on a regular basis, both at the centre and at local venues.

- Women’s health
- Stress Management
- Self-care
- Relationships
- Managing finances
- Nutrition and Healthy cooking
